Quick update on lake testing and treatment

I am just reaching out to give you all a super quick lake update.

We had our 3rd lake assessment this week from Solitude Lake Management. The dissolved oxygen and clarity are looking much better from last time, which is great!

During this visit the tech also did some small spot treatments with Copper Sulfate in the shallow areas to help control algae growth.

You can see the results of this week's survey here:

It is so nice to see many of you enjoying time swimming at the beach!

I would like to let you know that we had our first test for E Coli, this is a required weekly test by the state. The test sample was taken by a lab technician who wadded out to about chest deep in the swimming area and collected a sample of water.

The test results came back great!

Our results were 12 cfu, which is well below the maximum allowed of 320 cfu. This means the water is safe and swimmable according to state and town standards.

Well that’s all for now, as promised a super quick update : )

As always, if you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me any time.

Enjoy this beautiful weather,
