About invoices, a new fiscal year, and virtual Board meetings

These are trying times right now, and I hope that you and your family are doing well.

I am reaching out on behalf of the Board with some administrative updates. The Board wants you to know that, even though our social activities are paused, the Board is still functioning and doing its best to keep the Club going.

The Board hosted its April and May meetings virtually via Zoom and will continue to have virtual meetings until we come out of isolation.

Our virtual Board meetings will be for Board Directors only. Our Board meetings have never had loads of members attending, so we figure this is ok for now.

If you have any questions, concerns, or urgent business, please don't hesitate to reach out. There are many ways to communicate and do business other than Board meetings.

The Club is changing its fiscal year to start in June.

We are making this decision for the sanity of our Treasurer Al. Members who pay via check currently have varying renewal dates, and it's challenging to keep up. Having all check-paying members get invoices and renew at the same time will streamline the entire process.

Invoices will be going out in mid-May (soon) with a June 1 payment date. This aligns with our new fiscal year.

If you've already paid past June, your invoice will be prorated.

If you pay with automated payments on our website, you will receive an account statement.

The Board understands that these are uncertain times and some may not be able to contribute. That's ok. We are suspending our collection policy until things normalize. In addition, we try to best accommodate everyone's individual situation, and that's why we have a hardship application on our membership page

On the other hand, if you are in a position to pay dues, please please please do so! The Club is struggling and really needs everyone who can contribute to contribute right now.

Please let us know if you have any questions!
