Bubble bubbles everywhere… in the air, in your drinks, and hopefully in the lake, too!

Stop by for some fun with bubbles. There will be bubble machines, bubble wands, and even some stuff to make giant bubbles.

This event is FREE to attend and open to members and non-members. But, we do hope you’ll buy some bubbly drinks to support the cause.

Our lake needs aeration - help the cause!

Our lake needs aeration - help the cause!

Did you know, much of the issues we see in our lake such as shallow depth, muck, plant overgrowth and algae is caused by stagnant nutrient-dense water?

The #1 most effective thing that we can do to see the most beneficial improvements in our lake is to add a submerged aeration system.

So far the Environmental club has raised $600 from our fishing contest, which was so much fun!

But we really need the community to rally together to raise the funds needed to help our lake in a big way with the aeration system.

Help the cause and donate today!

Lake Update

Lake Update

So far this summer we have eradicated the overgrowth of Eurasian Water Milfoil. This was done by using an aquatic herbicide called ProcellaCOR-EC. This herbicide is proven to be extremely safe, effective, and only targets Milfoil.

We only want to use herbicide if we absolutely have to, and the Milfoil was a perfect example of an appropriate targeted use of aquatic herbicide.

Quick update on lake testing and treatment

Quick update on lake testing and treatment

I am just reaching out to give you all a super quick lake update.

We had our 3rd lake assessment this week from Solitude Lake Management. The dissolved oxygen and clarity are looking much better from last time, which is great!

During this visit the tech also did some small spot treatments with Copper Sulfate in the shallow areas to help control algae growth.

You can see the results of this week's survey here:
